With deliveries only starting in April 2019 and with a driving range of 205 miles, but Vauxhall claim that if you stick it into Eco driving mode you could get up to an extra 80 mile range. The Corsa-e is the first of three fully charged models to appear in 2020. The statement from Vauxhall is that they plan on all of their vehicles being electrified is some way by 2024. The Vauxhall Corsa-e is powered by a 50kWh lithium-ion battery consisting of 216 individual cells, which can be filled to 80% in just 30 minutes at a 100kW rapid charging stations.
The Vauxhall Corsa-e can accelerate from 0-60mph in less than 8.1 seconds with thanks to its 136hp electric motor. This smart little car comes with all the necessary extras including automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition to mention a few.
