How long does a Mercedes EQS take to charge?
The charging time for a Mercedes EQS electric vehicle (EV) depends on several factors, including the vehicle's battery capacity, the charging station's power output, and the type of charging cable being used.
The EQS has a large battery pack with a capacity of 107.8 kWh, which is enough to give it a range of up to around 435 miles (700 km). To fully charge the battery from empty, you will need a charging station with a power output of at least 11 kW. With a 11 kW charging station, it will take approximately 11 hours to charge the EQS's battery from empty to full.
If you are using a charging station with a higher power output, such as a 150 kW DC fast charger, the charging time will be shorter. For example, a 150 kW fast charger will charge the EQS's battery to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. However, fast charging will also reduce the overall lifespan of the battery, as it puts more strain on the cells.
How many miles does a Mercedes EQS get per charge?
The range of a Mercedes EQS electric vehicle (EV) depends on a variety of factors, including the vehicle's battery capacity, the driving conditions, and the driver's driving style. The EQS has a large battery pack with a capacity of 107.8 kWh, which is enough to give it a range of up to around 435 miles (700 km) in the WLTP test cycle. This is a laboratory test that simulates real-world driving conditions, and the actual range you get in the real world may be different. Factors that can affect the EQS's range include the vehicle's equipment and accessories, the terrain and weather conditions, and the use of heating and air conditioning. In general, driving at high speeds, using the air conditioning, and driving uphill will all reduce the range.Share
