Suppose I forget to charge up when out and about?
Well, it’s just the same as any other car. Run out of fuel and the vehicle stops. Fortunately, like all EV’s, the i-Pace has a battery management system which will provide energy information as range depletes. Where necessary, Eco Mode will be deployed, helping to extend range until a charging point can be found and a charging cable deployed. That’s why it is handy to always carry a 32 Amp cable.
What if the car is left standing for long periods?
It will be fine. The i-Pace can be left unattended for six months. Ideally of course it should be topped up by via the
ev charging cable once a month but the battery management system is electronically controlled and uses very little energy when idle.
