This is a standalone EV charging connector supplied without instructions. It is not a plug-and-play item. Professional installation is required. Buyers are responsible for ensuring suitability and safe installation. Returns due to incorrect fitment or installation error are not covered.

32A Configuration – Control Pilot / Proximity Wiring:
A 220 Ω resistor (included) is wired between the PP (Proximity Pilot) pin and the PE (Earth) pin inside each connector. This resistor signals to both the vehicle and the charging equipment that the plug is correctly inserted and that the cable is rated for 32A operation.

When tested with a multimeter:

• PP to PE at each connector: approximately 220 Ω

• PP to PP from one end of the cable to the other: approximately 440 Ω

• All remaining conductors: should read 0 Ω (continuity) end-to-end

This wiring arrangement is standard for 32A Type 2 charging cables and enables correct current recognition by the charger.
