Citroen C-Zero Charging Cable FAQs
What ev cable do I need to charge my Citroen C-Zero?
The Citroen C-Zero use a type 1 connection, so to attached the EV Cable to the home ev charger you will require a type 1 to type 2 charging cable. The chosen cable should be able to charge at 3.7 kW, as this is the maximum speed that the Citreon C-Zero will charge. The car can be charged using a cable that allows for a higher capacity but it will be limited to the cars max speed. To keep your costings to a minimum we recommend a 16amp, single phase charging cable. The last thing to deliberate is the size of the charging cable but this is down to your own situation and how far the cable need to be stretched to charge the car. You can choose from a 5m or 10m charging cable for the Citroen C-Zero.
Can i use my Citroen C-Zero ev cable with other cars?
Yes, because the C-Zero requires a Type 1 to Type 2 Charging Cable it can be used with any other type 1 cars. This could become handy if you have multiple electric cars in your household or workplace. We have a full list of type 1 cars on our website but the most popular cars include: Mitsubishi Outlander, Fiat 500e and Honda Clarity. How should i protect my Citroen C-Zero EV Charging Cable?

The ev cable is IP66 rated, which means it can withstand water and dust by this doesnt mean the cable is invincible. We always advise customers to store the cable in a dry place, avoid leaving the charging cable on the floor as the pins could become rusty over time.
